Hi there,
Just got a new GO 620 - what's driving me crazy is this business with routes becoming tracks!
If I plan a route in Mydrive, and then (before saving it), use the 'Send it to device' button, it goes as a Route.
Trouble is the initial route offered by Mydrive is usually not quite the best . . . but if you edit it - drag the route to a different road for example - the Send it button disappears! You can now only sinc it as a Track! Grrrrrr!
Why can't you edit the route exactly the way you want, and then send it????
I must say I am completely unable to understand the Tracks vs Routes thing!
Thank you for any help,
Russell

Add stops to your original route and you can 'Send it to device' .0 -
Hi EthoZ,
Thanks for the work-around. It's a bit trial-and-error, but you can get there in the end.
It just seems (to me), that one shouldn't have to resort to slightly clunky methods, to do something that should be quite simple. I have worked with a lot of software in my working life, but I must say I do find the manual a bit unclear?! Having said that, I do love the GO620.
Many thanks again.0 -
Hi
@Russ7131
The MDW Route planner has two transfer options
'Send to device'
The 'Send to Device' quite literally means send the planned .ITN Route to the device
it doesn't store the route in MyRoutes
See this thread.... For using .ITN Routes
