Missing songs on playlist

I have two playlists downloaded form iTunes. On each of them, several songs are missing. Example - iTunes list has 36 songs and my watch has 26.

    Are they in the right format and not DRM protected? The watch will not play or even list DRM protected tracks.

    Yes, this helps! They were older songs which makes sense, and there is a way to "unprotect" tracks which I will now look into doing. Thank you!
