Android GO, activate 3D map by default on startup

Hopefully this is the right place for my question: Is there a way to have GO automatically start in 3D mode when it starts? I've got it installed on a few different Android devices, and when it starts it's always 2D. I have to click the icon above the zoom buttons to set 3D mode even though 3D is on in the appearance settings. I know it will switch to 3D if I've input a destination and start driving, but many times I don't need to do that as I already know the route I'm taking. It would also be nice if it stayed on 3D after I've reached a destination, or canceled the route before I've arrived.

    No, there is none.

Thanks, I didn't think so. Would be a nice feature for them to implement.

Unlike some other mapping and navigation products, e.g. Google Maps, Here We Go and OsmAnd+, Go Mobile does not take advantage of any magnetometer sensor present in the device and so it is insensitive to the orientation of the device and the user when it is stationary. So with this software in particular there is less point in starting up in a 3-D view.
