Who is the complete moron who decided an account can have only 1 GPS device associated with iT? Don't you realize FAMILIES have multiple cars with multiple devices managed by DADs!

Hi
@tswift1110
Oops... For quite some time now (2Yrs)....
'Tomtom MyDrive Connect' will allow up to 10 Devices to be registered to an Account using the SAME Email Address & Password
The devices are now registered using the devices Unique Serial number
See... Manage multiple devices in the same account
https://en.discussions.tomtom.com/news-and-announcements-37/new-manage-multiple-devices-in-the-same-account-1001694/index1.html#post1081295

Thank you for your response. But, TomTom no longer supports my GPS! So your answer is not valid.
I will never purchase another TomTom product because they arbitrarily decide to end support for perfectly good working GPS's without any warning.0 -
YamFazMan's answer WAS valid for devices that use MyDriveConnect. However, not being a mind reader, he was unaware of what device you have (or had). Putting a ? in the field in your profile is not helpful.
If you provided an email address when you first used your older device, Tomtom should have sent an email advising of a soon to be End of Life listing of the older devices.
Perhaps it went to your junk file or they screwed up and it was never sent.0 -
Hi
@tswift1110
You didn't say which model Tomtom device you own ???
As your device is End of life, you either have a NAV2 or a NAV3 device with 2GB or less memory either way my post was correct and valid
As far as I'm aware users with End of life devices with Active accounts & Email addresses received Emails explaining the End of life situation + an offer for a discounted upgrade to a new model.
Manage multiple devices in the same account
The maximum of devices that can be associated is ten devices (NAV3 NAV4 or NAV5 (Wifi) Models. Among those ten devices one device can be a device updated with TomTom HOME (NAV2). The GO Mobile apps for Android and iPhone are not part of this restriction. The old mobile products (Navigation app for Android&iPhone), however, are part of the restriction and you can have only one associated to an account.
There are no time restrictions for adding and removing devices on/from your TomTom account.
Please note also, that you can update devices only one at the time.
