VIA 1605 will not connect.

Using a Mac Sierra which is a compatible device. I consistently get a message saying it will not connect. I have tried multiple USB ports multiple times. It used to work with my installed TomTom MyDrive but not now. Advice would be appreciated, please.

Is your device's battery full? If necessary connect it to the main charger of a smartphone of 2A at least 2 hours.
There was an update of the MyDrive Connect software on July 26th, 4.2.2.3559 for Mac OS X, try to redo a clean installation by downloading the installation file. There are 2 different versions for MACs, take the appropriate one, at the bottom of the page the green buttons.
