I was out riding today leg 1 using a route and leg 2 using no route. Question is there a way when not using 3D view to have the map show with heading up?
In the 4Dot (.... Menu) --> Setting --> Appearance --> Guidance view
You can choose 3D or 2D (in direction of Traffic)
There are 3 Driving views 3D... 2D (in direction of Traffic) or North-up overview Map You can't Toggle through the 3 options
You can only toggle between whichever view you have chosen in the 'Guidance view' menu
and the North-up overview Map by tapping the Chevron above the '+' & '-' Signs
When you're on the North-up overview Map
The Chevron/Arrowhead is Wider and more Squat
Zoom settings....
In the 4Dot (.... Menu) --> Setting --> Appearance --> Automatic zoom...
I always select 'Based on road type'
I find for on the Bike the 'Zoom in to next turn' screen view in the countryside is far to zoomed out to be of any practical use (It's like the view from the Intentional Space Station)
You can Tap the Plus or Minus buttons to fine tune your zoom
