Cannot connect new Rider 550 to Scala-rider 2 Intercom headset...!!! FFS
The Tom Tom 550 to scala rider headset as it says "Please connect to a headset that does not require a PIN code" WTF does this mean???

    Nothing more to say except some suggestions...

    Start over from clean devices. Reset the pairings and the devices...

    Be sure that both devices are updated to the latest firmware.

    Pair the TomTom to the 2nd channel as suggested by the user manual.

    Based on two weeks of trying to use the 550, and the same problems you have identified with Scala as I am having with Interphone FM5 and given the very evident "standard" response to such issues from TomTom support, Clear Cache, "forget" "clear Bluetooth connections etc.etc. It is painfully Obvious there has been very limited testing of connectivity, and certainly none in the field by Bikers and we are simply paying an absolute fortune to be the guinea pigs. I have yet to find any reliable solution, and certainly nothing usable from TomTom

    Someone had a problem similar connecting to Note 4. There answer was this

    1. when you have power on your scala, press for 5 second Vol+, led flash red/blue
    2. then on your device/mobile in bluetooth menu click your scala device.

    Maybe also try Master reset the Scala.
