Device Not Recognized, Tried Everything in FAQ

I have the Start 25 and want to update my device. I have lifetime updates so that part isn't the problem. I have the newest versions of the driver and of HOME. When I plug in my device it shows the computer symbol but the program does not recognize that it is connected. Please help.

    Take it that you got the START 25 in Europe as it is not sold as such in Canada

    Europe:-

    "BQ">VIA 1510 / 1515, 8GB + micro-SDHC, MyDrive Connect NAV3

    Also you need to use MyDrive Connect for your device not TomTom Home, get it from here https://us.support.tomtom.com/app/product_select/locale/en_US
