Hello,

I have a GO 510 with a fresh install of windows 10 and a new TomTom account, everytime i try to add the 510 in my drive I get
"PLEASE TRY AGAIN
We are sorry something has gone wrong. It is currently not possible to add your device to your account. Please try again."

I'm also seeing messages like TomTom servers are busy

if I ping sa.services.tomtom.com i get

Pinging sa.services.tomtom.com [185.5.121.58] with 32 bytes of data:
Request timed out.
Request timed out.

Request timed out.

Ping statistics for 185.5.121.58:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4 (100% loss),

is there a manual way to update the nav without using this flaky software?

It is not. You may wish to completely install MyDriveConnect and reinstall. Also, make sure an antivirus or firewall is not interfering with proper transmission.

Finally, if no resolution till Monday, call support:

    Thanks

in the end, I managed to get it to update by putting the device into recovery mode
