Getting used to and more familiar with my new 620 and wondering if I can modify items in the Menu. I dont need Gas Stations or Parking Lots.. to many around town to worry about.
Can I delete them..and substitute for other items...Like Car symbols or such...
Gas and Parking lots items are a waste of space when in any metropolis..!!
Space could be used for better purposes...
Thanx

Apart from re ordering the items in the menu, that’s the scope of personalisation I’m afraid?.There have been many similar requests over the years but they seem to fall on deaf ears.

You CAN delete Gas Stations and Parking Lots from the route bar.
Settings -> Appearance -> Route Bar

You can also ADD Rest Stops.

Good to know that, thank you.I thought the nav 4 units were totally unable to be personalised, apparently there are still 1 or 2 things we can do.

That, from the Settings Menu only turns them on or off.. but doesn't remove them from the Main Menu. I discovered that you can reorder them so you could put them at the end of Main Menu like I just did. If/when there is the 'Pen' icon after the 'Question Mark'.. you can press the Pen and move what you want, where you want it, in a different order. Otherwise, just press and hold the Gas Station or whichever and up will come that Icon with arrows at the bottom to move it left or right. Still learning.
