Activation Code

Hello,

I have just bought a new TomTom Start 25 from Amazon.

I have gone through Tomtom.com/getstarted and followed the instructions.
Managed to download MyDrive Connect, connected my device to my account and updated it, but still cannot use it. I notice that I have not entered an activation code, which may possibly be the problem.
Upon further research, I downloaded TomTomHome, but when I try to look around in it, I am locked out unless I connect my TomTom to the Computer, which I have done, but TomTomHome is not reading it connecting; but MyDrive Connect says it's connected.
I also would like to point out that when I plug my TomTom into the computer it does not prompt me to ask if I want to connect to the computer.

Please help asap.
