thats the estimate mydrive is currently giving me.... how is that even remotely possible??

    It is, it depends what that update entails, including all maps of Europe? Software updates?

    But sometimes the "time needed" estimates are rather pessimistic and the reality is much shorter.

    Always install the updates one at a time... The full NAV5 (Wi-Fi) Devices Europe Map is 8GB + so depending on your connection speed it can take a while

    These are typical update times for me
    The Europe Map for my NAV4 GO 5000 = 7GB +
    My fibre Internet Connection = 110Mb/s (Speed Test check)
    The full Download and Install, device ready to use 56 Mins 26 seconds

    So I updated Full Europe Map v1010... Over USB... 24 Mins
    The NAV5 Devices update on the fly i.e... No Download then Upload/Install
