I use My Drive Connect to update my TomTom Go 500 and that goes very well for serveral years now.
While checking my computer (laptop) I see dat in Appdata/local/Tomtom 38 gb space is used voor TomTom. Did I do something wrong?
The space is used bij TomTom/Home3/Cache.
I think I have downloaded maps that stay on my laptop after updating my TomTom? Can I delete the files named "content" followed bij different numbers?

You can delete the contents of the cache folder
Especially if the first two character of the serial number of your old GO 500 starts with "M3" as this has been declared "End of Life" see https://www.tomtom.com/en_gb/obsolete-products/
so there will be no more map updates0
