Problems updating TomTom Start 42 on pc

I am now on my third attempt to load maps etc on new Tom tom. Once again on the update TomTom pop up screen my progress is at 93% and it indicates there are 2 more minutes until completion. It has had this message for 3 hours. I just can't seem to get this to install. Anybody have a solution for this? Many thanks!

    Might you have an antivirus interfering with proper transmission?
