GO920 Touch Screen Failed after update

I connected my GO920 to download the latest GPS fix and updates and after updating the devicw was disconnected correctly using the menu. The Device rebooted and the touch screen no longer works. I am now unable to connect to my computer.
I have rebooted and reset the device to no avail.
Please advise

    Try the reset hole on the bottom (again) and make sure the click is felt when you insert the paper clip or similar.

    I have reset it I’ve rebooted it several times! and it can detect the USB port on my computer as the display changes to “Do you want to connect to your computer “ Y/N but the screen is not responding.
    I’ve fully charged it as it is seldom used these days.
    I’ve taken the screen off and cleaned it and around the edges but it was already spotless and no change.
    About to bin it!
