Where is California? via 1500

We are going to Califonia and it does not show in the list of states on my device.
What do I do?

Many devices require (when selecting address) that you click on the flag to select the State. Scroll up or down to see if it is the situation for you.

via 1500, I have scrolled through the whole list of states and California is not in the list. The only "C" state is Connecticut. If I try to search, I type "CA" and then when I typr "L", it says "not found".

Problem solved! I loaded "Southern US" map which includes California. My older map was "Eastern US" which does not. I thought I had all of US, but due to size limits, I did not.
