Re-Installation of software Via Live 120

I'm trying to re-install my TomTom Via Live 120 software, as my Sim Card was de-activated for what reason unknown to me. I have followed every step as per video of re-installing software to the letter. The problem is that my device does not connect to the server as it connection time out.

Is there a way that I can download the software to my PC first and than transfer it to my device.

    Are you talking about the application software for the Via 120 itself (if so, what application version is on there now)?

    Or are you referring to the MyDriveConnect application itself? If the latter, get the software at tomtom.com/getstarted. Install it without the device connected and then connect the 120 to the computer.
