Lifelong updates

How is it that despite being sold with u limited life long updates, know get seized my TomTom 30 is no longer supported and no email help for questions can be asked. I am sure this is a trade description issue as life long means just that and all devices should be supported and upgraded free,as sold.

    Tomtom has said that devices with lifetime maps will continue to get them. Call support BUT don't reply with a model in order for a live agent to respond:

    Its not Unlimited life long updates... In the Tomtom T&Cs Its Lifetime maps*
    But as dhn says Tomtom are honouring the Lifetime maps on the Eol devices

    * Lifetime means the useful life of the device, i.e. the period of time TomTom supports your device with updates, services, content or accessories. A device will have reached the end of its life when none of these are available any more
