My TomTom Touch Cardio has reset itself. Now there is 00.00 blinking on the screen.
Now I'm thinking I have to update the watch, but when i plug it into my computer, the programme keeps saying "Plug in the TomTom device". So now I can't do anything with it.
What to do???
At this point I would suggest calling Customer Support to see what they can do. They are able to more deeply investigate and diagnose problems than we can here on the user forum. To get the number for Customer Support, select Contact Us at the bottom of this page, select the service required and the product name and click Contact Customer Care and then Phone Us. It will give you the phone number for the country your account is registered under (this can be changed by clicking the flag icon in the bottom right corner of the screen).

The solution was to only use the micro USB that came with the Tomtom device. I have about 4, and my boyfriend have 1. I used the one at his place. I tried when I came home, with the Tomtom micro USB, and now it works perfectly.

His was likely a power only cable. There are different micro USB cables, some that transmit power only and some that transmit data and power. Make sure you are using the latter.
