rider 400 route planning

Hi. I am aware that there are other posts of a similar nature, but I cannot find the answer I am looking for: I simply want to be able to plan a route from one location to another on the device, where I can select the start point (ie not my current location), and stops (all I am interested in is making the route go the way I want it but stops seem to be the only option), and destination point. I have looked at the manual, many posts, and tried many, many times to try to figure it out. I am sure it is simple (I hope so anyway), but I can't do it. Can anyone help please? Paul

I used to do what you want to do on the Rider but gave up.

I now use MyRoute-app on my phone/tablet/PC to create my routes.
For on the road planning I attached an On-the-go USB cable to the phone with a microSD card inserted, save the route to it then put the microSD card in the Rider and upload the route.
Much easier!
