Start 60- Device frozen and will not start

My other half's sat nav is playing up, first its showing the screen with a monitor screen, the sat nav and a line connecting the two with a red cross and a red triangle with ? mark on the pic of the sat nav, have replaced the usb cable with new original tomtom cable, have re-installed MrDrive, have tried resetting the device with no success as it does not get to the white screen just continuously reboots. I'm at my wits end now as to how to get past this screen and ideas welcome.....
