Rider 500- Login error-"We are having trouble accessing Tomtom services. Please try again later."

I have just upgraded from a Rider 1 to a Rider 500

I can log into MyDrive on the PC, but on the device says Oops,

"We are having trouble accessing Tomtom services. Please try again later."

I have just installed the latest version of MyDrive

I am on an unrestricted internet access, and temporarily disabled AV.

Am I doing something wrong or is the service down?

    Welcome to the community :)

    This error message is a known issue which is currently under investigation.

    I would suggest that you do a soft reset(press and hold the on/off button till you hear the drum sounds) and try again. I would also recommend that try using a different email address preferably with no strange characters.

    If no joy then please report this to the customer service.
