Touch screen not responding- GO 730

my go730 screen will not respond to touch . i cant get past the legal notice were i need to touch "i agree" also when i connect to my laptop it wont respond to touch and i cant select "yes" so i cant go any further than the first screen. All this happened after i updated the device. i have another go730 and i copied all the folders and files on it and replaced all the folders and files on the faulty device but this still didnt solve the problem,
Anyone got any thoughts on this problem ?

    Did you try the reset hole on the bottom of the device?

    yeah several times , holding it in for 20 seconds and still no change.

    Anyone got a fix for this? Touch screen not responding. Have done a full reboot , restart etc etc. Is my poor old mate deceased?
