Ever month, I replace a POI file with a new one, replacing the existing file.
I have 10 MB left on the main drive, and a 16 GB SD card installed, but I cannot load a 64 KB file now.
Why can't I load the same size file that I have been using for years?

I get an error message that says there is not enough space on the device to load the file.0

@Emeris
Before you try another update, try to do a soft reset, you will loose nothing, it is like rebooting your computer and reloads all the new files from an update and hopefully clears all files marked for deletion as most likely the POI update facility marks the old file for deletion and creates a new file of the same name.
A soft reset :- with your device charged for at least 2Hrs "OR" have the device plugged into a power supply; press and hold your on/off button until you hear a drum-roll sound (or the TomTom hands symbol appears) then release the on/off button. Make sure you are outside and have a clear view of the sky (satellites) to get a good GPS lock0 -
I reset the device and have the same issue.0

@Emeris
Have you tried putting the map on the memory card?
Exactly how much free space dose Mydrive Connect report there is on the internal memory?
Have you got any unused voices that you could delete?
Have you tried deleting the old POI file before you add the new one?0 -
MyDrive Connect shows the device has 10 MB of memory free and 16 GB SD card memory free. However, in the Manage Community Content screen, it says 0 space free.
I only have one voice file on the device VIA 1535.
I have tried deleting the old POI file.
I don't know how to move the map to the memory card.0 -
I have lifetime map subscription.
I do not have any other third party POIs created. Only what came installed.0 -
OK, lets get back to the original issue.
Why can't I load a 64 KB file, when there is over 16 GB free on the device?
Why does My drive show the free space, but manage community content does not?
I have used the device the same way for years, now I cannot.
What update was pushed out by TOMTOM that recently disabled the functionality of my device or the website's?0 -
