My tomtom satnav will not stick to either the dashboard or windscreen. As soon as the car moves it falls off. How do I remedy the situation?

    Hi
    @haywood lane
    Are you turning the locking ring clockwise to the locked position to create a vacuum

    Hi
    @haywood lane
    Have you removed the packaging film from the suction cup... it's easily missed

    The only time any of my Tomtom devices failed to stay on the Windscreen was in a friends car who was a heavy smoker... after we had cleaned off the yukkie yellow haze of the screen the device stayed put

    If your Dashboard is even slighly textured the device wont stick... You will need something like a self adhesive mounting disc...
