my drive connection- Via LIVE device

Hello
I have a tomtom Via live, with app 10.060.594954.46, and map europe v855.3019!
I have tried to put a new map and actualizate to a more recent software with the program my drive connection!when i try to do the actualization it apears a message that the gps is not responding!
i have connected with usb cable and the pc recognizes the gps,and did the download to the pc!After the download is done the connection is lost!
i have tried in a pc with windows 7 and with windows xp!
Please help me solve this problem!

    Hello.
    I did that and the telephonic suport sent me to the on the tomtom web site.
    Already tried to disconect the firewall and same result.
    One silly question :
    The GPS was bought in england and i'm trying to update it on Portugal, isso there a problem?
