Frequency of Prompts in Race Mode

Hi, just wondering if there is a set frequency to when prompts are given in race mode. For example, this morning I went on a 16km run and only received a "ahead or behind" prompt about 100m after I began and at the 5km mark and that was it. Found this to be strange. I was using tom tom headphones when completing this run. Any ideas?

You only get prompts when you leave or behind the required pace for the race. So if you get ahead and stay ahead it will not alert you again (you would need to look at the screen to see the arrow telling you to slow down). It does not constantly alert you and seems to miss a lot of alerts. There is nothing you can do, it is just poorly designed (and isn't going to change since TT has left the industry).
