Update not working - full memory storage

Hi,
There might be an answer somewhere already that I just didn't find. And then I am really frustrated.
I have been using my Runner for a while and now the storage is full. When I connect it to my Computer, it starts downloading a Software update (I think) for a while and than I get the message that something went wrong, asking to disconnect and to connect again, which I did several times. Then I looked in the FAQs not finding an answer to the problem either.

After spending some time trying to solve the problem, I a am beyond frustrated even more so because I cannot even use the watch anymore because I even cannot delete the Memory on the watch itself...

Anybody able to help me please!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    You need to do a factory reset to clear the memory but you may need to call Support about the update issue. Do you have administrator rights on the computer, that is the most common reason it will not install. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Connect software?

    To do a factory reset, make sure the Connect software is running and dock the device to your computer. The Connect window will open; press the gear at the top right and select factory reset from the next screen. Follow the steps provided and when prompted to register or sign in to MySports, select sign in and use your existing account credentials. It is fairly straightforward and should take less than 5 minutes.

    To get the number for Customer Support, select Contact Us at the bottom of this page, select the service required and the product name and click Contact Customer Care and then Phone Us. It will give you the phone number for the country your account is registered under (this can be changed by clicking the flag icon in the bottom right corner of the screen).
