Cant open app on computer

I had my Tom Tom Spark 3 since Christmas 2 years ago. For the first years I was able to access the computer app just fine after an update I am no longer able to open the app. here is what happens: I run the app, it says there is an update, I allow the update to proceed, the update finishes, the app closes replaced by a pop-up stating I do not have permission to access the app and cannot go onto opening the app. I really would like to be able to use this again and need to access the app to get it updated and running so any help would be great but a solution would be best. Thanks

    It sounds like you do not have administrator rights on the computer. Log in as an administrator and you should be able to update it.
