Unable to play music on watch

Hi,
First time trying to play music on my watch. I have added MP3 files to a playlist on Windows Media Player... the Sports Connect has found the playlist and says it has added it to the watch... however... my watch doesn't think it has any music on it and won't play them. It didn't even recognise the pre-loaded track? I am not using TomTom headphones but have paired ok so don't see that as the issue.
When I go to playlist via settings on my watch it tells me to use my computer to add songs, and if I press up it just shows

Song
-/-
And I cant go up or right from there.
Help please?

    Are all the tracks ones that you own and are not DRM protected? The watch cannot legally play any protected files so it will ignore them.

    I’m actually having the same issue. I’ve had the same music on here for years and this issue just recently happened.
