Failure to Connect my Tom Tom 500 / GO 510

I am running Windows 10, current, but despite being logged in to Tom Tom and despite using a working USB and trying various others and ports, the system keeps telling me that I am not connected. I have even downloaded Tom Tom again. I tried seeing if the connection was hidden somewhere, but it is not showing up on my network places. Tom Tom has advised that I have 7 updates available. By the by, I do not have a smart phone, so connecting and updating through my computer is my only option. I would be most appreciative if someone could help.

    I do updates ok but not getting my drive connected via Android phone or says connected traffic and cameras but no traffic jams show on Tom Tom go500, used to be ok but since last updated new UK maps no my drive connect the Tom Tom says I am logged in correctly unable to connect to my drive. Help please.

    My system is now correctly integrated and updated.
