New software update for TomTom Touch available for download

Hi all,

We've just released a new software update for the TomTom Touch and it's available for download in Sports Connect.

What's new?
  • We've resolved an issue that could prevent the fitness tracker from pairing with Android 8 Oreo ™.

Please find the software versions below:

TomTom Touch Cardio + Body Composition> 1.44.12
TomTom Touch Cardio> 1.44.10

    Hi. My device is less responsive now that I have done the software upgrade to 1.44.10. Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

    My device is also less responsive. And it crashes a lot. Didn’t see that behaviour on the previous version.
    I have disabled accelerometer triggered display wake up. Only uses the step counter and the watch. Crash occurs 1 to 6 times a day.
    I only see the crash when trying to wake up the display. If the watchdog functionality is working then there might be more crashes that I don’t see.
    this I quite annoying.

    I have a TomTom Touch Cardio+Body Comp, and ever since I upgraded to 1.44.12 it crashes frequently, especially when checking Heart Rate

    my tomtom touch is also less responsive and constantly crashes when training. Some times I can't even turn off an activity the button will not respond or screen blacks out.:angry:

    Please connect your TomTom Touch to the PC/laptop and update it using the Sports Connect software. See here: User manual

    Good afternoon,

    I have bought my TomTom Touch yesterday but it can only sync when it is connected to the computer. When I try to connect it with bluetooth through my mobile phone it does not work (Huawei P10 Lite), I was wondering if you could offer a solution, I really like the watch but it has to work with my phone.

    If you search the forums you will see there is a known issue with the Huawei phones:

    You will have to sync by computer until it is fixed (if it is at all - TT has left the sports watch market altogether and is not producing any new devices so they may never fix it). I would assume at this point any updates will be limited to bug fixes. I would not expect much more development so what you get in the box will likely be all there is. If you are able, you may want to consider returning the device and going with another brand from a company that is actively in the sports watch market and intends to continue producing and supporting devices.

    it is not only with the huawei phones. motorola (moto g4 here) is also not working... very disappointing from TomTom! And returning / refunding is no option for Tomtom... :-(
