Go 600 won't connect to tom tom services with iPhone x

My tomtom go 600 will no longer connect to tom tom services with my iPhone x with latest ios updates. This means it wont connect to the until after pairing with my phone and won't get traffic or sync to mydrive to get my places. Steps:
  1. bluetooth is on
  2. soft reset device
  3. factory reset device
  4. re-paired phone with unit (successsful)
  5. turned on phone hotspot
  6. connect to tomtom mydrive software on pc and checked for updates
  7. made sure the tomtom mydrive app on my phone can use cellular data
