Why no instruction booklet for the Via 1515

It is beyond imagination and common sense to not print and make available a booklet of instructions for all the variables on my TomTom. Is there any help for this issue?

    Many makers of devices no longer send printed books with software driven devices, particularly if their operating system is being updated and the user operations are changed or added in their lifetime.
    Take Apple iPhone for example. Never had a book for those and the cost could include one but why waste all that Canadian lumber so the book is out of date in a year and mostly gets dropped in the back of a cupboard.
