memory card issue | Not recognised on MyDrive Connect

I have a VIA 1605 with a 16 gb memory card installed. I have formatted it with my tomtom and it recognizes it saying it is empty. However the PC website "My drive connect" says my device has no room and I should add more memory. I have done everything according to the websites instructions for adding a memory card, yet it still will not recognize it. Any solutions?

    Completely close MyDriveConnect.

    Then, try a drum reset on the unit by holding the power button about 20 seconds till you hear the drum sounds.

    Open MDC and connect the device. If it still doesn't see the card, call support:
