I have been using Tomtom for 3 years. I walk regularly and have just completed a half marathon walk in 3h 6m. At 62yo I cannot run due to a back injury but walk 2-3 x a week and ride 3-2x a week.

Whenever I download I get the following message:

"You're less fit than 80% of men your age. You can quickly improve by following our personalised recommendations."

If I go to the personalised recommendations all I get is advice for running or cycling!!

Why does this software not look at the walking stats? also
Why does the Training package only cater for runners and cyclists, not walkers?

If this option is available for walkers, how do I access it?

It does not cater to walkers because it is a running watch, which is why it does not have a "walking" mode. There is nothing you can do to fix it, you just have to ignore those messages. I imagine this is not what you were hoping to hear but let me know if this answered your question. If it did, please mark it as a solution so other can look for it if they have the same question.
