I have the new macBook Pro with 4 USB-C ports only. I have attached an Apple genuine USB-C to USB adapter to a port on the computer and the original TomTom USB cable to it. When I connect my watch to the TomTom cable it charges but the computer wont recognize it. Therefore Im unable to update the watch time/date, update the software/firmware on the watch and upload my runs. I guess the TomTom cable doesnt work with the USB-C new format.

Anybody having this issue??

USB-C should not be an issue though I have no access to a Mac with USB-C to check.

Can you click the Apple icon in the top left > About this Mac > System Report, then USB in the side bar to see if the watch is listed there? You may need to enlarge the top window to see the entire USB device tree.
