Go Live 1005- Not supported, Subscription status

I have received an e mail saying my device is no longer supported but then I receive another telling me to renew my subscription which is supposed to be lifetime. anyone clarify please

    Before you got the GO LIVE 1005 did you have a previous TomTom device, suspect the 'End of Life' email refers to that one, as, unless the serial number of your GO LIVE 1005 starts with "SB", then yes, your device is 'EoL'

    Thanks you are correct as it was sent to my old email address to which I still have access. My serial number starts ST so that looks fine
