Not recording my activities

tom tom runner cardio
my tom tom device is not recording my activities despite following instructions repeatedly and referring to my manual that came with it, I have tried resetting, rebooting etc and still no success, and followed instructions on the website to the letter and still will not record my activites any help or suggestions appreciated this model is approximately 2yrs`3yrs old

    It is not recording sports activities, so when you press right, select a sport and press right again it does not start? Or it is not recording daily activity like steps, etc.? It will not record daily activity as that is not included in your watch, that was added with the Runner2/Spark models and later only.
