Hi. I'm a train driver on a difficult mountain line. I would like to use TomTom to assist me when conditions are exceptionally poor.
I want to be able to set my own route on TomTom using rail lines rather than roads. I also want to set proximity alerts for important points along the route so that I know, for example, when I am approaching a crossing in the fog.
Can I use TomTom to do this? If so - how? (I don't mind paying for extra maps or software.) If not - what can I use instead? It needs to be GPS-based.
Thanks so much.
