edited January 2019 in Devices using TomTom HOME
I have just discovered (no prior notification sent to me) that my GO720, which functions perfectly well, cannot have any updates or new maps loaded. This is ridiculous! I refuse to purchase another device from TomTom and will never, under any circumstances, recommend that anyone do so -- should they ask. What a complete ripoff!

Tomtom have ISO 14001:2015 certification and "TomTom is committed to a proactive global take-back strategy. As such, we are financially contributing to the collection and recycling of end-of-life TomTom products, batteries and packaging."

To assist them with their responsibilities I suggest everyone return their prematurely obsolete device for recycling by posting it to:

    TomTom
    De Ruijterkade 154
    1011 AC Amsterdam, The Netherlands

    Tomtom Corporate Office
    Euston Tower
286 Euston Rd, Kings Cross, London NW1 3DP, UK

    Tomtom Sales BV
    Ste 1/3 Richardson Place
    North Ryde NSW 2113

TomTom Germany GmbH & Co. KG
Am neuen Horizont 1, 31177 Harsum, Germany

They claim offices in 37 countries - there may be one closer.
