Start 60 will just not turn on !!!

Tom Tom Start60 which up until last week was working fine not will not even turn on !
Any ideas ?

    Try a drum reset on the unit by holding the power button about 20 seconds till you hear the drum sounds.

    Connect the device to a power source (device can be off) for at least 2-3 hours.

    I followed the advice but the word tomtom continues to remain for me unless anything else happens
