Why does 1.7.62 not reset storage if music used while running?

I have a spark Cardio and Music [ HN6033G ] using 1.7.62.
Without using music on my runs, when I connect to update my records, the storage area is reset to unused and the battery recharges.

When I use the music, connecting to Marley Voyager air phones, then start my run - then when I finish and connect, the storage area does not appear to reset, as it shows 2 bars of the 5 as being used.

In both cases the run is displayed and stored in my activities record.

The only way i have found to reset the storage is to do a full reset which of course removes the current data for the week etc.

Any suggestions?

The storage bar has nothing to do with the Music, they are separate partitions and the storage bars under About are referring to activity storage only. I have seen users with occasional issues with the memory not clearing but it normally clears up after a reset. If this is not the case for you, you should contact Customer Support who can investigate further.

To get the number for Customer Support, select Contact Us at the bottom of this page, select the service required and the product name and click Contact Customer Care and then Phone Us. It will give you the phone number for the country your account is registered under (this can be changed by clicking the flag icon in the bottom right corner of the screen).

I hope this helped answer your question. If so, please mark it as a solution so others can look for it if they have the same question.
