I've got a GO something-or-other (internal SIM, traffic services) and the about every 30 seconds the screen dims slightly and the Charging Battery message appears. It's Really Irritating - any suggestions on how to fix that. It only happens while the batter is charging and it happens no matter what the power source is of what cable I use.

Are you using a usb charging port in the car? If so, don't. Use the car charger and make sure the cable is firmly connected to the device.0

Is the Tomtom Power adapter a tight sliding fit in the Power Socket
Some Power sockets are none standard/oversize giving an intermittent connection

Thanks Yam, it's a TomTom GO 2535 with 4GB memory.
I did think about the connection thing but I've tried it in different environments, including just sat on the desk next to my computer where it's completely still and the messages still pops up with the same frequency.0
