Fitness Points for swimming

So I noticed I get points for running, but not for swimming. Why is that?

    Points are based on VO2Max which is only calculated for running and cycling. Since swimming has no HR, it has no VO2Max, so no Points. You also won't get them for Gym mode or Freestyle.
