Tom Tom Start 52 problem getting planned routes to sat nav

What is the correct sequence to set up a planned route in 'my drive' and then get it sent through to my Tom Tom Start 52 please?
Up to a few weeks ago it seemed to be working ok.
Now I enter a planned route in 'my drive' but cannot get it sent through to the sat nav.
Seems to stop at 'GPX File' but no explanation of what this is all about
Sadly, I an old codger of 71 so need an idiots guide of what to do.
Can anyone out there help me please ?

Check that you are logged into MyDrive on the device with the same email address/pw as used for MyDrive.0

Yes, e-mail/pw same for both.
Was working fine until after a number of updates came through.
Tried System Reset on Sat Nav (as advised on Forum) but problem remains.
Is it possible I have a faulty sat nav ?0 -
Try a drum reset on the unit by holding the power button about 20 seconds till you hear the drum sounds. If that doesn't help, call support:

Thanks Paragon, that seems to have done the trick.
I guess the old 'switch it off and switch it on' usually sorts things out in the end !
