TomTom Touch phone and message notifications

Hi I need some help. I have recently purchased a TomTom Touch. When I first did the setup I paired it to an iPhone 8 and all of the features worked fine. Now after the first charge, I am finding that the phone notifications for both calls and messages are not buzzing. The software is the latest version. Last night I re-paired the phone and the band and this seemed to fix the issue. However today I am having the problem again. This is the second TomTom product I have(I also have a Spark Cardio) where this feature does not work properly. Please advise a solution.

    There is no solution, it simply does not work well. All you will get for notifications are those from the native phone and text apps, not third-party apps (like Facebook messenger or What's App). And all you get is single notification alert on a single screen, you cannot scroll through to recall missed ones or interact with it in any way. It essentially just telling you to look at your phone. It also misses a lot of texts and calls, particularly if they stack on top of each other. It was not a well thought out feature as nd was likely added just because they advertised it would have it.

    Considering TT has left the wearables market and is not producing any new devices, so I would expect at this point any updates will be limited to bug fixes (and even that may be limited - it has been over three months since the last update broke connectivity for many users and introduced battery drain issues and that is still unresolved). I would not expect much more development and certainly not something major particularly on the watch side (they may continue to tweak the MySports site and app, but not the watches themselves).
