How do I get a new watch band for the adventurer? The adventurer band seems to be different than the runner and spark bands.

It depends, do you want a new one for style reasons or did your break? If just for style or to have an extra, buy one from TT or Amazon. All units in the Spark/Runner lineup (Spark, Spark 3, Runner2, Runner3 and Adventurer) are identical and all the straps are interchangeable. The only straps that will not fit are the ones for the original Runner1 and MultiSport.

If it is broken, the strap is covered under warranty. Either use the self-service site in the link below or call Customer support and they will take care of it, they are very good about replacing them. To get the number for Customer Support, choose Contact at the bottom of this page, select the service required and the product name and click Contact Customer Care and then Phone Us. It will give you the phone number for the country your account is registered under (this can be changed by clicking the flag icon in the bottom right corner of the screen). The best way to avoid damaging the strap is to not take the watch out of the strap when charging. It is designed so that the dock slips between the watch and the band which limits the amount of twisting. Also, when taking it on and off do not yank on the strap, pull it gently to the desired tightness then snap it in place, which puts less stress on rubber.

I hope this helped answer your question. If so, please mark it as a solution so others can look for it if they have the same question.

I'm having the same problem after 6 months of usage.. Moreover you can't order replacement to the country where I live in (Slovakia) directly from TomTom accessories webpage.
I used to have multisport watch which lasted 3.5 year without strap replacement and it died out (the watch but not the stripe).. Now quite dissatisfied with the quality of the material used for this watch which is supposed to be one of th top range..

I'm having the same issue, I went through two (!) original Adventurer wrist bands (the orange and the black) in the past year, both of them snapped off after about 6 months of wearing them, the last one just a week ago, when my watch spontaneously fell to the floor (luckily it still works).
I'm in Australia right now and can't order an original Adventurer wrist band online at TomTom (it says "available soon" for the other bands and there are no Adventurer wrist bands in the shop). I want the Adventurer one, because it has the hinge at the top (I have friends who have other versions of the TomTom watch and a different strap that breaks too, at the place where they're missing the hinge because the rubber just can't handle the repeated strapping on and off).
I'm very dissapointed in the quality of the Adventurer wrist band, but unwilling to buy a cheap knock off on eBay. I fear those will break even faster and I'll at some point lose the watch somewhere altogether.
I haven't got the receipts because I got the watch and extra wrist band as a present for my birthday last year. Anyone know where to get an original one in Australia? Or a way to get a new one from TomTom without receipts? :(
