I have a plug-in device and have not been asked to renew my annual subscription - yet the device still appears to be working 'normally', albeit that there is no update to the road network. Can I continue to use the device indefinitely without further payment?

    If you have not purchased/updated the live services for more than 3 years then they are now irretrievably redundant.
    It might be a good idea to look out for one of TomTom's special offers and buy a map update at a very reduced price. But until you do, you device will function reasonably well, but you may find yourself driving over what your device thinks is a green field or being routed over a now non-existent roads. But do try and download a QuickGPSFix file on a regular basis, so the your device actually knows where it is faster
