The watch memory will clear automatically every time you sync (either by computer or app). If it is not you need to do a factory reset to clear the memory, there is no way to delete activities from the watch itself.
To do a factory reset, make sure the Connect software is running and dock the watch to your computer. The Connect window will open; press the gear at the top right and select Factory reset from the next screen. Follow the steps provided, giving the watch the same name and using the same email address. When prompted to register or sign in to MySports, select sign in and use your existing account credentials. It is fairly straightforward and should take less than 5 minutes.

will not connect to the computer. maybe one of the worst websites I've ever encountered.0

You do not use the website to connect to a computer, you need to download the Connect software from tomtom.com/123. Once that is installed when you plug in your watch it will recognize it and go through the sync process. How did you register the watch if you did not use a computer?
